Physician Perception on Flu Vaccines 2018

Our third-annual five-minute microsurvey monitors perceptions among US PCPs who administer the flu vaccine about their patients’ reasons for non-vaccination, where patients get their flu shot, physician thoughts on the benefits and limitations of pharmacy or grocery store vaccinations, and clinic requirements for staff vaccinations.

Method: 5-minute MicroSurvey via InCrowd (5 Questions, 1 Screener)
Crowds: Primary Care Physicians
Sample Size: n=201
Inclusion Criteria/Screeners: PCPs must administer the flu vaccine (88% of screened respondents)
Fielding Period: October 23 – 25, 2018

One key finding: In 2018, PCPs report that misconceptions around the risks and benefits of flu shots are greater than
years past.
