InCrowd Survey: Healthcare Predictions for 2018 and Repeal of Individual Mandate

Updated: Healthcare Predictions 2019

InCrowd conducts an annual survey on physician predictions, with 203 physicians participating in November of 2017. After Congress passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in December, which repealed the individual mandate, InCrowd conducted follow-up research with 201 physicians.

Download our slide deck to see the full findings and analysis of both surveys.

The top healthcare issues noted by physicians as most or highly important for 2018 were affordability of care and wider access to therapies.

The post-tax act survey asked physicians about Medicare and Medicaid, impacts on their practice and patients, and the overall effectiveness of the individual mandate.
