InCrowd Caps Impressive Growth in 2018 by Answering its 2.5 Millionth Question

With brand health and data quality driving growth, InCrowd’s market insights platform helps life science organizations to create value, innovate, and transform healthcare

WATERTOWN, MA February 13, 2019—InCrowd, pioneer of the real-time market intelligence platform for the life sciences, concluded another year of impressive business growth in 2018 by answering its 2.5 millionth “question” posed by biotech, life sciences, and medical device firms to its “Crowd” of healthcare professionals. The milestone reflects increasing awareness that managing brand health through fast, reliable, quality insights is a strategic imperative for gaining a competitive advantage.

“We’ve experienced stronger, scalable growth, spread across more and more clients every quarter, allowing us to deliver greater value to our customers and the market faster,” said Janet Kosloff, InCrowd CEO and co-founder. “After moving to our new corporate headquarters in early 2018 to accommodate our growth we organized around a new product approach with a goal of honing our commercialization efforts to bring value to customers faster. And we’ve kicked off 2019 stronger than any year to date.”

Notable accomplishments achieved in part from InCrowd’s customer-focused strategy include:

Innovation—InCrowd continued to evolve its market-leading, insights on-demand platform, bringing greater respondent personalization and advanced analytics to market in 2018 with features such as carry-forward answers, skip logic, and cross tabulation reporting, among other platform advancements. InCrowd also continues to expand on-demand qualitative research with its new DIY qualitative solution, InCrowd Interview—currently in use with early adopters.

Growth—InCrowd added more than 100 new brands in 2018 and is now a key partner in managing the health of 300 life science brands. With more than 20 new life science firms on its roster of marquee clients, InCrowd now serves 40 of the top 100 global pharma companies. Fortifying its existing team of talented insights experts, InCrowd brought on executive-level hires including a new head of product, several director-level positions in product, client success, and analytics, as well as seasoned business development leaders.

Recognition—The pharmaceutical marketing magazine PM360 named InCrowd Interview one of the most innovative products of 2018 in December. InCrowd Interview also received a Bronze Stevie Award in November for Best New Product of the Year from the American Business Awards’ Women in Business program. PM360 named InCrowd a finalist in its annual Trailblazer Awards in August, a program commending industry commitment to change and corporate social responsibility. The Boston Business Journal recognized InCrowd as one of Massachusetts’ top mobile technology companies in April.
