Job Summary:

The Social Media and Member Engagement Coordinator is a newly created position on the Panel Team which will manage select social channels across the two brands with a goal of growing brand awareness and brand loyalty among healthcare professionals.

This role will use social channels to promote primary data collected by Apollo, including direct quotes from healthcare professionals, in order to directly address a wide range of topics which are meaningful to our members such as physician burnout, diversity/inclusion in the healthcare setting, impact of the opioid epidemic and many similar issues. By amplifying the voices of HCPs, we hope to encourage physicians, nurses, NP/PAs, pharmacists and allied health professionals to join Apollo’s expert network (Panel) and allow our members to see the value of our research initiatives, ultimately driving higher participation rates among our members.

Working collaboratively with colleagues on the Panel and Marketing teams, this role will use a combination of creativity and data-driven decision making to refine our member facing brand. Additionally, this role will oversee the onboarding pathway for new members, ensuring the first few days and weeks of membership set the stage for long-term, consistent participation in our research studies.

Reporting into Apollo, the Panel Team is responsible for recruiting, engaging and maximizing performance of Apollo’s global network of 1MM+ healthcare professionals. Our expert network is tapped for participation in online surveys and phone interviews on a broad range of healthcare topics such as current prescribing patterns, reactions to potential new therapies and creation of patient education materials. We strive to create a best-in-class user experience for our members, matching HCPs with paid research opportunities on topics they will find to be personally and professionally rewarding.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day management of Instagram and Facebook accounts for the InCrowd and SHG/OpinionSite brands
  • Collaborate with Panel and Marketing team members to set/refine direction of our member facing social brands
  • Monitor the brands’ social media accounts and address any issues/inquiries raised by healthcare professionals in our social channels
  • Collaborate with graphic design resource, providing guidance on custom images to be used in our social media content
  • Utilize InCrowd’s web-based microsurvey tool to create surveys on topics of interest to healthcare professionals; this will engage members in primary research and create bite sized content which can be promoted on our social channels
  • Report on engagement metrics for social media channels
  • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports that outline current performance and any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
  • Manage our member onboarding pathway – a set of engagement tools designed to familiarize new members with our research methodologies and prime them to be consistent contributors in InCrowd and/or SHG research opportunities
  • Report on engagement metrics related to the engagement of newly onboarded members
  • Manage editorial calendar and work with the B2B Marketing Team on occasional cross collaborations
  • Support the Panel team on other tasks as needed


  • Education
    • A., B.S. in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience
    • 2+ years experience in a marketing equivalent role, ideally in life sciences or healthcare
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
    • Adept user of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel as well as Google Docs etc.
    • Proficient with online content scheduling, curation tools and social media channels
    • Experience in adapting and/or creating content for social channels
    • Strong interest in health care and understanding of the issues that matter most to healthcare professionals
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

This position would preferably be based out of InCrowd’s Watertown, Massachusetts office, or the SurveyHealthcareGlobus (SHG) office in Pocatello, Idaho. While neither office is currently operating at full capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions, we do value in-person collaboration for team members and anticipate a full return to the office sometime later in 2021.
