Online Community Data Manager

InCrowd provides real-time, primary market research data to Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies by coupling a cutting-edge DIY survey platform with an extensive network of health care professionals.

We are looking for someone with a background in data management who is comfortable with metrics and familiarity with using databases. Use of Excel and Google sheets are major components of the position. Familiarity with Redash a plus. A strong interest in the healthcare industry is important to join the Crowd Development Team. In this role you would play an integral part in the maintenance and data cleanliness of our online medical community by managing all member-related data. This includes suggesting avenues to improve our data cleanliness and making pragmatic suggestions regarding which groups within our Crowd require engagement to prevent member attrition.

This role also requires data support for our sales feasibility requests and a modicum of community relations Crowd support to assist other team members.

JOB SUMMARY:

Traditionally, whenever the pharmaceutical industry needs to gather primary data, it can take 4 – 8 weeks to conduct a market research study to provide the needed information. We are radically transforming that process. With the InCrowd platform, our clients can receive the answers they need in hours, not weeks.

InCrowd has an extensive online network (or Crowd) of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and c-level hospital executives. Our members answer brief, 5 minute micro surveys, sharing their expert feedback on the latest pharmaceuticals and medical devices in development and earning rewards each time they share their opinions with InCrowd. Growing and maintaining a reliable, quick responding Crowd is vital to the strength of our company.

The Online Community Data Manager will work as part of a team to track Crowd behavior (growth/attrition, time to respond, demographic makeup, etc.) and create strategies to improve response rates and overall satisfaction for the Crowd. Increasing the number of Crowd members who participate in our research (responding faster and more frequently) leads to direct cost savings for the company. This is an integral role in the Crowd team and would answer directly to the Senior Director of Crowd Operations and work closely with the Vice President of Crowd Operations. All data contributions will be used to improve our database, strengthen our existing Crowd and bring in new business.

There are a number of areas where the Crowd Team is looking to grow. For this reason, the role will be slightly customized to fit the skill set of the new team member, to ensure that the responsibilities assigned will play to the applicant’s strengths and future ambitions.
