We are looking for a proactive, detailed-oriented individual to join and support our growing life sciences focused real time market research business.  This is contract position that will enable you to work closely with life science decision makers as well as internal team members in our mission to reinvent healthcare market research.

Job Description

The Compliance and Data Quality Analyst is a contract position responsible for monitoring and delivering data quality and pharmacovigilance compliance reviews and documentation as it applies to all domestic and global research initiatives. This role will provide first-line data review support for both the Client Services and Compliance teams and support the Compliance team in adhering to documentation requirements.

  • Will work closely with the Client Services team to monitor and flag domestic and global research studies to ensure data meets quality standards
  • Will work with the Compliance team to monitor and flag any adverse events, product complaints and special situations related to our clients’ products (i.e. patient safety events)
  • Will work with Client Services team to ensure that patient safety events and patient safety reconciliations are submitted on-time in accordance with client requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills (written and verbal), can multi-task across multiple functional areas, and is timeline focused and flexible in work scheduling to meet the demands of a high volume, multi-project work environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized and comfortable reviewing large volumes of spreadsheet-based survey data, both close-ended numerics and open-ended text-based answers across the company’s domestic and global research initiatives.  Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to meet compliance reporting timelines required by clients.

Location:  Remote and/or Watertown, MA

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serving as Quality Analyst to deliver on processes relative to Compliance-related Patient Safety & Data Quality Checks
  • Responsible for daily review of survey data across high volume, multiple surveys providing quality validation and compliance checks and communicating results to Client Services and Compliance
  • Responsible for reporting patient safety events and patient safety event reconciliations to client pharmacovigilance departments in a timely fashion
  • Performing work that consistently requires independent decision making and the exercise of independent judgment and discretion


Education and Professional Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related data quality control experience.
  • Experience in data management/analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Pharma/biotech/market research a plus

  • Flexible schedule to support project deadlines and requirements with some non-business hours (likely early morning Eastern Time hours) and minimal weekend hours required

Note:  1 year contract position with current term approximately July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, with possibility of extension, and/or employment, as deemed necessary by Apollo Intelligence, LLC and agreed to by both parties.
